651 DAYS TO TRANSFORM EVERYTHING

On the day we celebrate the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., I’ve been looking backward and forward in time. And I’m keenly aware that we have just 651 days until the 2020 election.
As a young boy in Philadelphia, I went to Independence Hall every year to see the Liberty Bell. I would run my hands over the bell, wondering how it would sound and how it came to be cracked so profoundly.
Today, I wonder if the American experiment may be cracking before our eyes.
The past two years have exposed the fragility of our political and social norms and our own vulnerability to losing our way of life forever. Americans on all sides are frustrated by our broken political process and our government’s failure to solve ever-worsening domestic and global challenges.
